Height: 1.25m-1.35m. Color: Variable; often bay, dark bay. The M'par resembles the M'bayar, but is smaller. It has a long back and slender legs. It often suffers from its breeding conditions; the animals that are well fed and cared for show better physical development. Distribution: Louga and Thies(former Cayor) regions Senegal. The M'par has good endurance and is very rustic, well adapted to the hot climate. It is often used for farm work, harnessed, and can also be used to teach young riders. The breed remains local, and its exact numbers are not known.

Originally from Cayor, the M'par is the result of crossings of M'bayar mares and Fleuve stallions.
