Height: 1.29m on average. Color: Variable. It greatly resembles the Yuta. It is an animal with solid legs and often the close-set hocks characteristic of mountain horses. Trashigang region, far eastern Bhutan. Like the Yuta, it is sure-footed and well adapted to the mountains. It is essentially a pack horse, carrying loads of 40~ 60 kg. It is also used to produce mules. The breed remains quite local.

Connected to the history of the Yuta, it is one of the native horses whose origins we don't know, but which seems always to have been there.
